British India. Edward VII Proof Restrike Rupee 1909-(b) PR65 NGC, Bombay mint, S&W-7.48. A fine rendition of this Bombay-minted rarity, dressed in a resounding coating a cobalt and lavender tone across decidedly glossy field. While the mintmark is completely obliterated from the crown, one can look to a dot on the vine for confirmation of its origin.
