Bavaria. Ludwig I "Order of Ludwig" Taler 1827 MS66 NGC, Munich mint, KM732, Dav-560, AKS-118, Thun-53. Commemorating the founding of the Order of Ludwig. Though a well-known series to collectors that normally requires little remark, there is something to be said about a commemorative of Ludwig that is this elite. Conditionally unmatched and visually unparalleled, a serene flash resonates across the open fields like ripples across a pond, welling at the rims in a frame of orange and magenta color. Almost pewter in hue, the fields finds themselves overlaid in mottled lilac patina. Simply unique visual quality that requires in hand viewing to be even mildly appreciated. Ex.
