Description

Bavaria. Ludwig I "Coronation" Taler 1825 MS64 Prooflike NGC, Munich mint, KM720, Dav-555, AKS-112, Thun-49. Commemorating Ludwig's coronation. The sole finest of a mere 5 representatives of this one-year type granted a Prooflike grade across both NGC and PCGS combined, fielding the most entrancing mottled patina over its reflective surfaces. Leopold's standing figure and royal titles are noticeable well-frosted, allowing the luster to twinkle attractively throughout. Ex. Johann Max Böttcher Collection (Harald Möller Auction 42, November-December 2006, Lot 229) From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
