Description

Bavaria. Maximilian I Joseph Taler 1823 MS65 PCGS, Munich mint, KM716, Dav-554, AKS-49, Thun-46, Wittelsbach-2598. An elusive 19th century Taler of Bavaria that is always met with fanfare when located in Mint State designations. Ranking at the very peak of the certified populations and boasting an especially fine and flashy reverse bereft of any instances of handling that could be considered distracting by even the most seasoned and conditionally discriminating collector. Certainly a great rarity when located this fine and problem-free. Ex. Heritage Auction 3037 (January 2015, Lot 29477) From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
