Description

Baden. Ludwig I Taler (100 Kreuzer) 1830 MS66+ PCGS, Karlsruhe mint, KM193, Dav-518, Thun-18, J-41. An unimaginable survivor and despite a relatively higher mintage, numbering around 100,000, the current offering stands head and shoulders above the rest, the next finest ranking a full two points behind in PCGS's population report. Generous mint brilliance swirls unimpeded across decidedly crisp features and flat expanses, which are deserving of the advanced designation assigned by PCGS. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
