Description

Anhalt-Bernburg. Alexander Carl Taler 1834 MS66 NGC, Berlin mint, KM82, Dav-502, AKS-15, Thun-2. Mintage: 15,000. Peak-grade and incredibly desirable as such, displaying an even satin luster that thoroughly dresses the surfaces. While occasionally available in fine conditional states, most examples have seen fairly extensive circulation, with half of NGC's certified population for the type being in Details grades. Ex. Johann Max Böttcher Collection (Harald Möller Auction 42, November-December 2006, Lot 24) From the collector: During the 2006 Böttcher sale, I was pleased when my $80,000 USD check was accepted by the auctioneer. My check not only paid for this beautiful gem, but a box full of amazing coins I proudly brought back to the states. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
