Description

Hupeh. Hsüan-t'ung Dollar ND (1909-1911) MS63 PCGS, Wuchang mint, KM-Y131, L&M-187, Kann-45, Chang-CH137, WS-0882. Incuse swirl on fireball, no dot in center of Manchu variety. Highly desirable in Mint State, where the vast majority of examples certify in mild to moderately handled designations, many of which are accompanied by conditional qualifiers that notoriously plague the issue. Illumination reveals scintillating luster that carries admirably across surfaces laying host to icy appearances and razor-sharp dragon motif that find themselves best appreciated when viewed in hand.
