Description

Hsüan-t'ung Dollar Year 3 (1911) UNC Details (Cleaned) PCGS, Tientsin mint, KM-Y31, L&M-37, Kann-227, WS-0046B. No period, extra flame variety. Fully attractive and only very slightly hindered by its noted cleaning, this mainstay of the late Qing series comes in far better preservation than do most, with its details showing no signs of friction and only exceedingly light handling. Amidst generally light hairlines, the viewer can detect ample fine die polish, while a nearly full cartwheel luster continues to be present over both sides. From the Tony Ma Collection
