Hsüan-t'ung Dollar Year 3 (1911) MS61 PCGS, Tientsin mint, KM-Y31.1, L&M-36, Kann-227a, WS-0046A. Period after "DOLLAR" variety. An always coveted imperial Dollar type, this piece being of the elusive dot variety. Of the more than 500 examples certified by NGC and PCGS, only a fraction of this number is blessed with Mint State preservation, making an uncirculated representative a contested commodity. Fully dressed in an original silty patina bestowed with lightly subdued golden resplendence, all lit ablaze under illumination and best appreciated when viewed in hand.
