Republic gold 2 Escudos 1850/40 Ga-JG VF35 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM380.3, Long-pg. 199. A scarcer mint-date for the issue, with this being one of only 6 examples we have been able to locate in auction archives of the past 2 decades. Interestingly, Long only documented one example of this overdate in his 2004 work on the series, and NGC records having seen just 3 representatives. Ex.
