A superb gem example from a fascinating period during which Sweden had extended its influence to the southern Baltic coast due to military accomplishments made during the Thirty Years' War. Incredibly frosted, handled with exceptional care, and showcasing striking, icy luster that flows across the fields upon rotation in hand, it would be exceedingly difficult to ever locate a finer example of this issue. The present offering ranks as the sole finest example seen by PCGS, a fact that will come as no surprise to any beholder of this nearly immaculate specimen.
