Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 3 (1914) MS65 NGC, KM-Y329, L&M-63, Kann-646. Wholly encompassed by satiny fields that seemingly know no bounds and decorated in gold-tinged argent surfaces lit ablaze by the most subtle turn of the wrist. Rarely do we witness Gem Mint State examples of this prolific series, and between both NGC and PCGS, we note that less than 1% of certified examples rank as high or finer than this offering. Certainly a great rarity when located this fine and nearly devoid of visual detractors.
