Description

Victoria gold Sovereign 1846 MS64 PCGS, KM736.1, S-3852. Conditionally scarce in near-gem quality, this earlier Victorian Sovereign date contains cartwheel effects unbroken but a minor peppering of light contact, die polish embracing the reverse shield, all bathed in honey-gold color. Tied with the D. Moore specimen for the second finest certified, we would note that only a lone MS66 current grades higher.
