Description

Victoria gold "Broad Shield" Sovereign 1843 MS64 PCGS, KM736.1, S-3852, Marsh-26. An incredible survivor for any Sovereign of Victoria's reign, let alone a comparatively early date such as this, with the vast majority coming down to us in XF condition or worse. To date, only a single MS65 has been seen between NGC and PCGS combined, this piece bound in its grade by some mild chatter to the obverse.
