A classic Brazilian rarity, especially for variety and error collectors looking for this exceedingly scarce issue. The last instance one of these was offered was in our 2010 sale of the Paulistana Collection, with objectively more instances of wear across the face and weaker struck central devices. The present example, on the cusp of Mint State, displays crisp features and an allover gunmetal appearance, subduing light peach undertones. A light inscription reading "XE-7A" on the reverse above "SGIN" is the only imperfection, noted for the sake of accuracy.
