The Kuwait Currency Board operated for approximately ten years before replaced by the Central Bank, which opened in 1969. The first series of notes prepared by the Currency Board are scarce and desirable today. Pack fresh originality is easily seen on this 10 Dinars, which was the highest denomination of the series until the first 20 Dinars was issued in 1986.
