Comoros Banque de Madagascar et des Comores 500 Francs ND (1963) Pick 4b PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ. Incredible original grade is seen on this beautiful colonial type. Pre-1976 Comoros is downright rare, especially in the best of grades. Although this design was intended for use in both Madagascar and Comoros, a red overprint on the front indicates that it is purposed for the latter. One of the best extant and desirable as such.
