Description

Auersperg. Heinrich Taler 1762 MS63 NGC, Vienna mint, KM1817, Dav-1181. A. WIDEMAN below bust. A scarce issue produced to a total mintage of only 260 examples, consequently leaving few survivors in Mint State condition. The offering represents the first example of this elusive type which we have presented, fielding scintillating radiance underneath a fine silvery tone, these features embracing sharply-produced devices absent of even a trace of weakness.
