Japan Bank of Japan 1000 Yen ND (1945) Pick 45s3 Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 Net. The 1000 Yen of 1945 was such a high denomination at the time that few notes circulated. Some of those issued notes were turned into Specimen with red overprints and hole punched cancellations. PMG mentions repairs on this otherwise handsome Specimen. Rare in any grade, and in any format.
