Iraq National Bank of Iraq 1/2 Dinar 1947 (ND 1955) Pick 38a PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. At the time of cataloging, no finer graded examples exist in the PMG Population Report. Interestingly, the 1/2 Dinar denomination proves challenging to find in multiple Iraqi series, especially in the best of grades. Pack fresh originality is easily seen through the third party holder, with special mention of the strong embossing seen on the back. The highest graded example we have offered, and the first Uncirculated note of its kind to be offered in auction since 2014, this is an important opportunity to acquire a scarce and popular banknote in such a desirable grade.
