Iraq Government of Iraq 1/2 Dinar 1931 (ND 1948) Pick 23 PMG Choice Very Fine 35. This portrait of King Faisal II was used on only two banknotes, the 1/4 and 1/2 Dinar of 1948. At the time of cataloging, this example is the single finest graded Pick 23 of 30 notes graded in the PMG Population Report. Interestingly, the 1/2 Dinar denomination is a key note in a number of Government of Iraq series. Extremely popular and rare in this elite grade.
