Ferdinand VI gold Escudo 1750 Mo-MF AU53 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM115.1, Cal-215, Fr-20. Quite an appealing representative of this very scarce issue, retaining considerable luster and deeply toned with a wholesome auburn. We note that the sole finer example, in NGC AU55, sold for $5,170 including buyer's premium in our August 2015 ANA auction.
