Description
Mansfeld-Eisleben. Johann Georg III Medallic 1/2 Taler 1661 MS62 PCGS, KM-XM1, Whiting-138. 16.28gm. Struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Convention of Naumburg, and depicting a half-length portrait of Martin Luther. Imbued with a pleasing cabinet patina, and rare in any uncirculated condition, the sole example certified as such by PCGS.
