Attica, Athens. Silver Tetradrachm (17.11g), 510/500-480 BC. Early archaic type. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet, the crest box ornamented with chevron pattern. Reverse: AΘE, owl standing right with closed wings, head facing; olive sprig with two leaves and one berry behind; all within incuse square. HGC 4, 1590; Starr Group II A. Uniform light grey tone.
