15.32g. 29mm. UNC/UNC. Prooflike. Sharply detailed exemplar, toned to a lovely dark patina with mirror-like fields. Rare state of preservation for this type. Medaliers: Nikolay Kozin (on obverse, Н . КОЗИНЪ Р . below the bust), Ivan Chukmasov (on reverse, И . Ч . below the wreath).Diakov 675.3 Ar - R2. Very rare. Obv.: Bust of Emperor Alexander II facing right within a circular inscription. Inscription around: ALEXANDER II WENÁÁN KEJSARI SUOMEN SUURI RUHTINAS . (Alexander II, Emperor of Russia, Grand Duke of Finland). Below the truncation: Н . КОЗИНЪ Р . (Engraved by N. Kozin). Rev.: In the center of a wreath of oak leaves and flowers, a three-line inscription. Inscription around: K . SUOMALAINEN HUONEN HALLITUXEN SEURA . (Finnish Society of Agriculture). In center: TAİTO | jA | TOİMİ (For Knowledge and Labor). Below the wreath: И . Ч . (I. Chukmasov). This prize medal was issued by the Finnish Society of Agriculture under Russian rule, recognizing distinguished contributions in farming, knowledge, and industry. It reflects both the integration of Finland into the Russian Empire and the active development of local agricultural societies.
