PB Byzantine lead seal. Seal of John apo hypaton (6th-7th century).
Obv: Inscription in four lines: Ι|ΝΝΟΥ|ΠΟΥΠ|ΤΝ : Ἰωάννου ἀπὸ ὑπάτων. Wreath border.
Rev: Inscription in three lines: ΘΕΟΤΟ|ΚΕΒΟΗ|ΘΕ : Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Wreath border.
A second similar specimen, DO, BZS.1947.2.623.
Condition: VF.
Weight: 13.38 g.
Diameter: 22.9 mm.
