An intaglio on an etruscan carnelian scarab, mounted on an ancient gold ring. Man running to the right. Globular elements. Wear marks. For comparisons: G.M.A. Richter, Catalogue of the engraved gems. Greek, etruscan and roman. The Metropolitan Museum of Art- New York, p. 52 n.15 (a very similar specimen); Aa.Vv. L'oro degli Etruschi, a cura di M. Cristofani e M. Martelli, pp. 240-241. 4th - 2nd century B.C.
