C. Norbanus. Denarius (Silver, 17.90 mm, 4.04 g) Roma, 83 BC. Control number in semicircle above to left, C. NORBANVS in semicircle below. Diademed bust of Venus right, wearing pendant earring and necklace. Rev. Grain ear to left, fasces in the center and caduceus to right. Crawford 357/1b. Sydenham 739. Babelon (Norbana) 2. BMCRR Rome 2770. Toned. Well struck but with areas of flattening. Good Very Fine.
