Q. Antonius Balbus. Denarius Serratus (Silver, 18.71 mm, 3.24 g) Roma, 83-82 BC. Laureate head of Jupiter right, S. C behind neck. Rev. Q ANTO BALB PR in two lines in exergue. Victory draped driving fast quadriga prancing to right, holding wreath in the right extended hand, palm branch and reins in the left hand, L below horse’s legs. Crawford 364/1d or e. Sydenham 742. Babelon (Antonia) 1. Nice tone and few deposits. Banker’s mark on obverse. Very Fine.
