NISHAPUR GLAZED BOWL WITH GEOMETRIC CENTRAL MOTIF
Ca. AD 900 - 1000 A Nishapur glazed pottery bowl featuring a deep basin and convex walls painted with quadripartite space is divided into two medallions with floral motifs and two with geometric patterns in hues of black, red, and green glaze dots on the white ground. A homogeneous transparent glaze covers the interior. The exterior is adorned only on the top under the rim with diagonal lines.
