NISHAPUR GLAZED BOWL WITH FLORAL DECORATION
Ca. AD 900 - 1000 A Nishapur glazed pottery bowl featuring a deep basin and convex walls painted with elaborate floral motifs in hues of black and yellow on buff ground alternating with black medallions. A homogeneous transparent glaze covers the interior. The exterior is entirely unglazed, following the rules of the Nishapur production.
