Second Intermediate Period / Hyksos period, Ca. 1700 - 1550 BC An Egyptian Second Intermediate Period / Hyksos period hand-carved steatite scarab. It has a single border line and depicts 12 concentric circles, partly intertwined by connecting lines. Its back depicts the natural back of a scarab beetle.
