Old Kingdom, Ca. 2640 - 2184 BC An Egyptian vessel finely carved from a near-translucent alabaster stone with banded inclusions in warm hues of honey and butterscotch. Sitting upon a pedestal, this rounded vessel presents a corseted shoulder and flared, flat rim surrounding a wide mouth.
