SET OF THREE EGYPTIAN SILVER FLY AMULETS
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC A set of three Egyptian silver fly amulets made with spread wings and a long ribbed body. The ancient Egyptians, seemed to have held flies in high esteem, presumably because of this insect’s powers of fast reaction and indomitable, insistent presence.
