EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULET OF BES
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC An Egyptian mould-formed faience amulet of the deity Bes with a long beard. Bes's head is represented frontally with yellow details of the eyes, the eyebrows, and the beard's hair. The amulet is covered in a lustrous turquoise-hued glaze.
