ROMAN BRONZE BROOCH

A bronze brooch crafted with exceptional skill. It features a flat and openwork design, characterized by a striking central motif in the shape of a pelta, enclosed within a rectangular frame. The pelta, a distinctive shield-like shape, was a popular decorative motif in Roman art and held symbolic significance, often associated with protection and strength.
