LATE VIKING / NORMAN SWORD WITH CIRCULAR POMMEL

A stunning iron sword Oakshott type ‘G’, with a wide blade almost parallel, then tapers down to a sharpish point. The blade is double edged, with a central fuller which travels down to nearly top of the blade. The hilt is short and one-handed, finished with a circular pommel.
