A possibly later gold ring of a flat-section hoop expanding to an eye-catching amphora-shaped shoulder with a bulbous body bearing vertical ribbing decoration, scrolled handles, and filigree ornament. The large bezel cell set with a stone intaglio depicting a dynamic scene of an Amazon fighting a Centaur. Ring possibly later. The item has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
