EARLY ETRUSCAN POTTERY KERNOS
Ca. 1st half to middle of the 7th century BC. An Early Etruscan pottery kernos made of dark brown impasto. The vessel features a globular body rising from a short, flared foot, and gently tapers to a mouth with a broad, slightly inward sloping rim, which is connected with four small offering pots supported by thick columns protruding from the shoulder. Size: L:190mm / W:170mm ; 1.09kg Provenance: From the RK Collection, Hesse, acquired before 1980.
