Description

Nerva, 96-98 AD. AE As, Rome mint, struck 97 AD. Laureate head right. Reverse: Aequitas stands left, holding scales and cornucopia; AEQVITAS AVGVST, SC. RIC 77; BMCRE 127; C. 7. Sharply struck on nearly round flan, with handsome black-green patina. The portrait an excellent thoughtful study of the aged emperor.
