CILICIA, Selinos. Epiphanes and Kallinikos. Circa 72 AD. Æ. Diademed and draped bust of Epiphanes right / Diademed and draped bust of Kallinikos right. Levante, Selinus 19 (same obv. die); SNG Levante Supp. 87 (this coin); SNG France 682. VF, dark green patina with earthen highlights, some roughness to reverse.
Epiphanes and Kallinikos were sons of Antiochos IV of Commagene, who, following the deposition of their father by Vespasian in 72 AD, attempted to retain their father's kingdom.:
