Byzantine lead seal of Petros officer
(6th cent.)
Obverse: Block monogram, with cross inside, resolved with certainty as +ΠΕΤΡΟΥ (Of Peter, the owner of the seal), wreath border.
Reverse: Cruciform monogram, to be deciphered, seemingly resolved as the dignity of the present Peter, wreath border.
Condition: Very Fine
