Byzantine lead seal of Theodore honorary eparch
(end of 7th cent.)
Obverse: Inscription in three lines, +ΘΕ/OΤΟΚΕ/ΒΟΗΘE/Ι+ (Mother of God, help), wreath border.
Reverse: Inscription in 4 lines, +ΘΕΟ/ΔΩΡΩ/ΑΠΟΕΠΑ/ΡΧΩΝ (Theodore honorary eparch), wreath border.
This seal is a parallel from the same boulloterion of the previous lot no. 676.
Condition: Very Fine
Weight: 11 gram
