Byzantine lead seal of Chamdounios
(ca 11th cent.)
Obverse: Inscription in 3 lines, + ΛΟ/ΓΟΥCCΦΡ(Α)/ΓΙΖΩ = Λόγους σφραγίζω (I seal the words), dotted border.
Reverse: Inscription in 4 lines, ΚΑΙΓΡ/ΑΦΑCΧΑΜ/ΔΟΥΝΙ/ΟΥ = καὶ γραφὰς Χαμδουνίου (and the writings of Chamdounios), dotted border.
Condition: Very Fine
Weight: 8,3 gram
Diameter: 19,0 mm
