Description

August III of Poland, Vicariate Thaler Dresden 1741 Characteristic vicar's half-thaler, whose name comes from the privilege of the Saxon electors, who held the vicarage in the Saxon district after the Emperor's death. For this occasion, coins of various denominations were minted with a depiction of the king on a horse. The penultimate year of the vicariate issues of Augustus III the Saxon. Obverse scratched.
Obverse: king on horseback with sword facing right DG FRID AUG REX POL DUX SAX ARCHIMARSCHALL & ELECT Reverse: throne, crown and scepter on it, in the background an Eagle with royal insignia IN PROVINCIIS IUR SAXON PROVISOR ET VICARIUS
Diameter 42 mm, weight 26.03 g Charakterystyczny talar wikariacki, którego nazwa pochodzi od przywileju elektorów saskich, którzy sprawowali wikariat w okręgu saskim po śmierci Cesarza. Z tej okazji wybito monety różnych nominałów z przedstawieniem króla na koniu. Przedostatni rocznik emisji wikariackich Augusta III Sasa.  Zadrapanie na awersie, ale dużo naturalnego menniczego połysku.  Ładna prezencja z naturalnie barwną patyną.
