August II the Strong, 1/2 Vicariate Thaler Dresden 1711 ILH - VERY RARE Rare denomination of the first vicariate issue of the Polish king.
Obverse: King on horseback facing right, under the horse a five-field heraldic shield, with the coats of arms of the Crown, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Wettin dynasty Reverse: three altars, with the insignia of the king, the elector of Saxony and covered with a cloak with a wreath, at the top FRID AUG / REX ELECTOR, in the wreath & VICARIUS POST MORT IOSEPHI / IMPERAT / MDCCXI, below the initials ILH and the mint mark hook
Diameter 35 mm, weight 14.47 g Rzadki nominał pierwszej emisji wikariackiej polskiego króla. Moneta w ciemnej patynie z widocznymi fragmentami połysku. Pozycja sporadycznie spotykana na rynku aukcyjnym.
