Gordian III (AD 238-244). Æ Sestertius (29,32 mm, 17,44 g), Roma, AD 242. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r. R/ Apollo seated l., holding brancht and resting elbow on lyre; in exergue, S C. RIC 302. Very fine.
