Gordian III (AD 238-244). AR Antoninianus (22,24 mm, 3,98 g). Rome, AD 243-244. Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust r. R/ Providentia standing l., holding wand over globe, and sceptre. RIC 148; RSC 296. Good very fine.
