English Milled Coins - George III - 1799 - Gilt Proof Halfpenny
Dated 1799 AD. Third issue, Soho mint. Obv: profile bust with single pellet on lowest shoulder drapery fold with GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA REX legend. Rev: seated Britannia with trefoil of small pellets on rock and BRITANNIA legend and date. S. 3778; cf. Peck KH26 for type (not listed as gilt proof"). 12.50 grams. .
