Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Probus - Temple Antoninianus
277-280 AD. Rome mint. Obv: PROBVS P F AVG legend with radiate, draped and cuirassed bust left holding eagle-headed sceptre. Rev; ROMAE AETET legend with hexastyle temple within which Roma seated facing holding Victory and sceptre; mintmark R[wreath]? in exergue. RIC 195; C. 646; Sear 12027. 3.44 grams. .
